The last of our gigs in 1995 and in fact the last band gig we played! We played in a hall above the Albert pub in Brighton. You could say we played 'The Albert Hall'! Again the audience was small and was made up mostly of friends of the other band we played with (name forgotten). The guitar player and singer of the band was a former drummer with The Wedding Present. They actually played first, so we 'headlined' for a change. Bad idea lads! We played quite well - much better than the second Norfolk gig. Neale was suffering from a cold and cough and was swigging from a bottle of cough mixture, whilst advising 'The Kids' not to do drugs! Half way through the set the first band began to leave along with their audience and Mark introduced a song: "This song is called 'Slowly Diminishing Audience'!" Undeterred we carried on receiving polite applause from the diehard few - namely those people with nowhere else to go on a Tuesday night. And that's why we probably haven't played live since - because it's a waste of time taking the time and trouble to get to a venue to play to people who are not interested in the first place. However, the next gigs in Germany were fabulous, the audience reaction superb, albeit that Steve and Rob couldn't go. Unfortunately,
we have no record of our set list - very inept we know. We definitely
would have played: Jumble them up into your own Fragile set list!
